IPC NOTES ON CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST
In criminal breach of trust, the offender is lawfully entrusted with the property and he dishonestly misappropriates it.
IPC NOTES ON CRIMINAL MISAPPROPRIATION OF PROPERTY
Whoever dishonestly misappropriates or converts to his own use any movable property, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years or with fine or with both.
IPC NOTES ON ROBBERY AND DACOITY
When five or more than five persons commit or attempt to commit a robbery that is known as dacoity. It is more of an aggravated form of robbery and generally, the robber is armed with deadly weapons. Dacoity is defined under Section 391 of the IPC and the punishment for it is defined under Section 395 of the IPC.
NOTES ON THEFT AND EXTORTION
In theft, property is taken away without the consent of the owner. In extortion, the consent of the owner is obtained but wrongfully. Theft maybe only in respect of movable property. The property may be movable or immovable.

Section 375 of the Indian Penal Code defines rape as “sexual intercourse with a woman against
her will, without her consent, by coercion, misrepresentation or fraud or at a time when she has
